The ectoparasitoid wasp species Eulophus pennicornis Nees is shown here. She lays her eggs on the body of a caterpillar, where they develop into larva that such the hemolymph (blood) of the caterpillar host. When the wasp’s larva are fully developed, they move away from the now dead caterpillar, molrt into a pupa, and after a week they molt into adult wasps.
